The internet is a great thing, but people can get cyberbullied or see things that are not supposed to be seeing on it. So people need to make some rules to be keeping safe on the internet.

One of the rules that people should have is how long you are on it for. People shouldn`t be on the internet 24/7. People should be on the internet a little bit at a time. People should be outside more not stuck on their computer on the internet.

Another thing is what people do on the internet. People shouldn`t be looking at things that they are not supposed to be looking at. For example, they might be cheating in a test, playing games that they are not meant to be playing or looking at inappropriate things.

The last important rule is privacy. If kids or adults have Instagram, Facebook etc they shouldn`t be putting their pictures of their faces on it because people can tease you and they are also on the internet forever.

The internet is a great thing so we need to be careful when we are using it.

Game on is a twenty-minute-long video made by the office of the e safety commissioner. #Game on is about cyber safety. It teaches you about being safe on the internet, and if you spend too long on the internet it can make a big difference on your life and other`s.

In #Game On there`re three problems. The first one is about a girl who`s Facebook homepage. In this problem a girl called grace has been blamed to have posted offensive pictures with quotes on them. But she actually posted them and someone else put quotes on them. In the end she finds out that one of her friends did it as a joke.

The second problem is about a boy called Dean who has found out about a game and has been playing at every chance that he gets. His friends and family haven`t liked it and they try to help him stop. In the end he realises that it is wrong and he makes a schedule of playing it.

The third problem is about a boy called Ollie who has been taking selfies and posting them on social media. His mum and sister tried to help him stop because he was going to get cyberbullied. In the end he deletes his social media accounts.

#Game On is a great video and I recommend it to anyone who wants to know about cyber safety.

There are quite a lot of disadvantages to the internet such as: everything you put on it will be on it forever, you look at a lot of bad things and you can learn things that you are not meant to learn.

Advantages to the internet

There is a lot of disadvantages to the internet but that doesn`t mean there isn`t any advantages to it. Some advantages to the internet are you can play games and watch videos you can learn what is happening in the rest of the world you can also learn a lot of great things and you can also do your homework with it.
